Ah, these shoes! It was love at first sight. Roberto Botticelli He certainly thought of the trend of the moment (moccasin with fringes to the Gucci) but to me they simply brought back to mind memories of childhood.
Remember when I played with dolls, to be precise with Barbie. You will not believe, but I especially liked Barbie's shoes, which at the time had precisely this shape: "moccasin" high-heeled but wide. It was my ideal shoe, the one that when I grow up...
It took time, but I finally found it. Although this type of shoe does not lack in the collections, fringed, with lapel or without, it was not easy to find the "Lady Moccasin" as I say. The reason is soon said: Very often lacks the right balance. The heel is too tight, either too high or too high; The shoe is heavy and/or swollen the foot; or the buckle tightens; Or it still has an outsized plateau. In short, the shoe is not very harmonious, unelegant or not feminine, at least in my opinion. And this also applies to the women's moccasin par excellence, what you will certainly have seen on all fashion magazines, namely Gucci: beautiful, for goodness sake, but the heel too straight and massive takes away femininity to the whole, always in my opinion (I speak, of course, Of the version with a 10 cm heel).
This shoe of Roberto Botticelli (Brand that I did not know directly for other) instead: It is perfect, in line and in comfort. It's just like the one I used to wear to my Barbie and I wanted to buy... great!
Happy New Year!
